If you were just looking for more bandwidth, she won't see benefits from that unless she's downloading very large files. Now I haven't tested the latest powerline adapters, but I haven't seen powerline perform as well as Eero, and those reviews don't look too hopeful for this product. I was thinking about using this instead, and freeing up the full sized Eero to be in some place more strategic for coverage. Right now my wife is using one of the full sized units to connect her phone to her companies VOIP network. Right now I have gigabit internet coming to the house. Granted, yes I know it's just 2 gigabit ethernet connections, I wanted to see if this actually gets the gigabit speeds it advertises. This 'claims' to be 2GB through your power lines. Hey guys, I've assumed (possibly wrongly) that going down the Powerline route to connect up another Eero with strong backhaul was a bad idea, since I was under the impression that it wouldn't go above a couple hundred MB per second.
